Hi again! Well 2018 may be gone, but not forgotten. In that final hour 2018, I received my 16th short story Acceptance for the year! My short story “Mother of the Apocalypse” will be featuring in Issue #249 of AntipodeanSF, which is slated for publication in April! Talk about a way to wrap up the year!
But wait, there’s MORE! I submitted my short story “Once In A Blue Moon” to Dragon Soul Press’s “First Love” anthology, edited by J.E Feldman, and it was Accepted! It’ll be my longest short story published thus far, clocking in at 6.6k and is due out in February!
Also, my short story “The Eternal Masquerade” which featured in Fantasia Divinity‘s “Midnight Masquerade” anthology, has been selected to feature in their ‘Best of 2018‘ anthology, Echoes of the Past! It’s exact publication date is to be announced, so I’ll keep you updated, when I know more. “The Eternal Masquerade” was also put on the eligible list for the 2019 Australian SF ‘Ditmar’ Awards in the Best Short Story category! I’m humbled and excited to receive that kind of recognition. So thank you, to whomever liked my work enough to put it forward for consideration! I’m very grateful.
And on that note, a big shout out of support and love goes out to my dear friend, and fellow Australian short story author, Pamela Jeffs, for her works that have been put forward, too! We’ve both been working so hard. I’m happy for, and proud of both of us!
Now, leaping into 2019 with both feet… today is only the 2nd of January and I’ve already submitted 3 short stories! I’m also half way through my 4th story for the Fantasia Divinity Interpretations Contest. So far, so good. And I’m eternally on the hunt for more opportunities!
This is going to be a BIG year for me, so strap in and hold on tight, this is going to be a roller coaster ride, I’m sure!
Thanks for reading.
May you feast upon the flesh of your enemies!
